Summary of the Chapter
The Wise Parrot is the story of a parrot kept by a merchant in a golden cage. Though it had food and care, the parrot longed for freedom more than luxury. It asked the merchant to convey greetings to its forest friends. When that message made a wild parrot fall as if dead, the pet parrot used the same trick to feign death, got placed on a windowsill, and then escaped. It flew away free, teaching that intelligence, patience, and love for freedom are stronger than gold or force.
